Alfa Romeo MiTo background information
Alfa Romeo Mito (Work name type 955) – Luxury compact hatchback produced by Alfa Romeo since 2008. For the first time introduced on June 19, 2008 in Milan. The International Debut took place in the same year on the automobile in the UK. Sales started on the main markets in July 2008. The main competitors of the model are MINI and Audi A1.
The car is designed by Centro Stile Alfa Romeo. Alfa Romeo Mito is based on FIAT GRANDE PUNTO (FIAT / GM SCSS platform), and its design is sustained in the style of the fastest “alpha” – Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione. Between 2008 and 2012, approximately 200 000 pieces of Alfa Romeo Mito was built.
Alfa Romeo MITO is available in three kit: Sprint, Distinctive and QV.
In the baseline set of the initial level – Sprint – presented by the DNA system, 16-inch cast discs, leather gear switch, climate control system, tinted rear windows, information and entertainment system with touch screen, USB and AUX connectors, Onboard computer and steering wheel with stereo control buttons and Bluetooth connections.
Completion of the middle level – distinctive – includes 17-inch cast discs, rear parking sensors, a cruise control system, a white highlight of basic dials, a lumbar support function for front seats.
High-level models – QV – are equipped with 18-inch discs, sports seats, leather cover on a steering wheel and have a matte dark interior decoration.
The Alfa Romeo Mito GTA version (Gran Turismo Alleggerita) was presented in March 2009 at the Motorshaw Geneva. The presented version was equipped with a 1.75-liter turbocharger with direct injection. Power – 237 horsepower, maximum speed of 250 km / h, and dispersal to hundreds occupied 5 seconds. There was a weighted weight due to the use of aluminum and carbon. However, the model did not go to the series through the global economic crisis.
Quadrifoglio Verde (ukr. Four-lived clover) – MITO version, for the first time is presented in the Frankfurt Motor Show 2009. Quadrifoglio Verde is a traditionally top ruler in the range from Alfa Romeo. QV Version has a new 1.4-liter Multiair engine with a capacity of 170 hp (125 kW), a new specially designed suspension, steering and a new 6-speed transmission C635 developed in Fiat PowerTrain Technologies (FPT). The new Multiair technology allows you to hold fuel consumption at 6 liters per 100 kilometers in the EU in combined mode, and the CO2 emission level is 139 g / km.
