Alfa Romeo 166 background information
Alfa Romeo 166 is an average sedan, produced by Alfa Romeo from 1998 to 2007. Design developed by the Center Alfa Romeo Centro Stile under the guidance of a chief designer Valter de Silva.
The car has three gasoline engines working volume 2.0, 2.5 and 3.0 liters, as well as a 2.4-liter diesel engine. The size of the body remained almost the same as in the predecessor – Alfa Romeo 164 – the length of 4.7 m, width – 1.8 m.
The interior of the car fully corresponds to the classics, a car interior spacious with adjustable sports seats in a corporate style, and the device panel is equipped with round analog dial. For the model there are three variants of the salon upholstery: elegant, sports and classic. In elegant upholstery, warm beige shades are observed. Sporting lining offers dark gray and black tones of the salon and seats, and the classic is performed in light gray gamma. Inside the car is equipped with: electronic onboard systems, satellite navigation, GSM radio telephony, climate control and cruise control.
Alfa Romeo 166 appeared in the series “Commissioner Rex”. On it ridden two masters of Rex: Alex Brandtner and Mark Hoffman.
