Subaru Tribeca background information
Subaru Tribeca – a medium-sized crossover from the Japanese company Subaru, produced from 2005 to 2014. In some markets it was produced as a Subaru B9 Tribeca. The name “Tribeca” comes from “TriBeCa” – a neighborhood of New York.
Available in the markets of North America, Australia (since 2006), in Europe (since 2007). Also sold in Chile, Argentina, China and some Southeast Asian countries.
Starting with the first model released, the Subaru Tribeca SUV had a bright exterior color scheme, which stood out from other cars, and it gave it even more charm. The model is built on the Subaru Legacy platform. There are both five-seater and seven-seater models.
In 2007, Subaru unveiled a new generation of Tribeca at the New York Motor Show. Subaru has decided to abandon the “bold” design, which it once “scared” all potential buyers of the previous version of Tribeca. The new car turned out more restrained, weighty and interesting in its own way. The new generation Tribeca equipped with a 3.6-liter EZ36 engine with a distributed fuel injection system develops a power of 258 horsepower at 6000 rpm, torque 247 Nm at 4000 rpm.
