Suzuki Solio background information
In 2005, it was decided to change the name of the Wagon R Solio to simply Solio. The model is equipped with a 1.3-liter 4-cylinder engine and a 4-speed automatic transmission. There are both single-wheel drive and all-wheel drive options.
The Suzuki Solio five-door hatchback is equipped with a 1.2-liter engine (91 hp) and a CVT. Buyers are offered versions with front and all-wheel drive. The second generation of the Suzuki Solio has been produced since 2010 and is sold only in the Japanese market, a copy of this model is the Mitsubishi Delica.
The line consists of three modifications: “1.3 E” (basic), “1.3 WELL” (with additional equipment) and “1.3 S LIMITED II” (top). With the change of the name of the model, its appearance has also changed – first of all, this affected the design of the radiator grille and headlights in the modifications “1.3 E” and “1.3 WELL”. In addition, in “1.3 WELL” and “1.3 S LIMITED II” the seats are height adjustable. In all modifications, the salon is equipped with pleasant little things like a business card box.
The second generation of the Suzuki Solio compact van appeared on the Japanese market five years after the first. With small, “urban” dimensions of the body, the model has an impressive interior space. Solio has the most spacious interior among 5-door cars with two rows of seats, an engine of less than 1.5 liters and a body height of more than 1550 mm.
The model is equipped with convenient sliding doors on both sides, and in modifications “S” and “X” there is a function of double folding the rear seats with one touch. Like Suzuki Swift, this model is equipped with a 1.2-liter DOHC engine with variable valve timing inlet and outlet. In general, the car is economical and easy to maintain.
