Suzuki Forenza background information

Under the name Suzuki Forenza from 2004 to 2008, Daewoo Lacetti / Chevrolet Lacetti sedans and station wagons were sold in the United States. The hatchback version was called Reno. By American standards, it was a very “budget” car.

Suzuki Forenza was offered with only one power unit – a two-liter engine with 126 hp. s., “borrowed” from the Australian branch of Holden. The car was equipped with a manual or four-speed automatic transmission.

Suzuki Forenza is produced in two modifications – a five-door station wagon and a classic four-door sedan. The station wagon has a slightly elongated, however, lower body than the sedan.

In Russia, there are several modifications of the Suzuki Forenza car, which differ in the working volume of the installed engines and the type of gearbox. So in the domestic market you can find 1.6, 1.8 and two-liter versions of the Suzuki Forenza with a four-speed automatic or five-speed manual.
