Dodge Sprinter background information
In 2003, the DaimlerChrysler concern began selling the Dodge Sprinter, a converted copy of the first generation Mercedes-Benz Sprinter model, on the American commercial vehicle market. A similar car was also sold in America under the Freightliner brand.
The second generation of the model debuted in 2007, and already in 2009 the Dodge Sprinter was discontinued – by that time, Chrysler and Daimler had already ceased cooperation.
