Suzuki Wagon R background information

Suzuki Wagon R – Kay car, first appeared in Japan in 1993, and is still manufactured in Japan by Suzuki. R – means a car for rest. This is one of the first cars with a short but tall station wagon body.

Wagon R has been the best-selling K-car in Japan since 2003.

The car was offered in some foreign markets, including India. At the end of February 2010, sales of the Suzuki Wagon R reached 5 million units.

The fifth generation Suzuki Wagon R is made for the Japanese market.

The minivan is offered in a single GL configuration. In previous years, cars were equipped with a five-speed manual or four-speed automatic transmission. The 2017 models received a variator. The general base of the new Wagon-R includes: halogen headlights, LED taillights, electric side mirrors, tinted glass with UV protection, electric windows, heated rear window, fabric upholstery seats, 4 headrests, front armrest, folding 50 : 50 rear seats, central lock, remote control, air conditioner, board computer. Safety is provided by: front airbags, ISOFIX mounts, anti-lock braking system, brake force distribution system, auxiliary braking system, lane departure warning system, electronic stability control, anti-slip system, hill start assist system.

A slightly different Suzuki Wagon R + model identical to the first-generation Opel Agila is available for the European and some other markets.
