Citroen C4 Cactus background information
Citroën C4 Cactus – a compact car brand Citroën, presented on February 5, 2014, to the anniversary of Andre Citroen, mass production of the model began in June 2014.
Initially, the car received a 1.2-liter three-cylinder gasoline engine with 82 hp. and a 1.6-liter four-cylinder diesel engine with 92 hp.
This is the first car to use Air hybrid technology with reduced fuel consumption by approximately 30%. It contains a pump and a hydraulic accumulator. The C4 Cactus is built on platform 1 (Citroën C3, Citroën C-Elysée, etc.). The car is manufactured at the PSA plant in Madrid.
As standard, the Citroen C4 Cactus is equipped with: ABS, EBD, AFU, ASR, ESP, engine with stop-start system, side airbags for driver and front passenger, immobilizer, tire pressure sensors, safety curtains, power steering, air conditioning , climate control, heated front seats and cruise control with speed limiter. There are several optional packages for the Citroen C4 Cactus. The “Feel” package includes: air conditioning, 7-inch touch screen (with player, climate control and on-board computer), cruise control, ESP, Hill-Assist and LED running lights. The “Shine” package is supplemented by: navigation, climate control, rear view camera and parktronic, rain and light sensors, as well as alloy wheels.
The trunk is designed for 348 liters.
In 2018, the second generation of the model was introduced, which also replaced the Citroën C4.
