Suzuki Spacia background information

The miniature 3.4-meter “kei car” Suzuki Spacia has been produced in Japan since 2013 and is sold only in the local market, it has become a replacement for the Palette model. The car, created on the platform of the Wagon R model, has a high five-door body with two design options – regular and more aggressive (Spacia Custom).

The hatchback is equipped with a 660 cc three-cylinder petrol engine. cm, the atmospheric version of the engine develops 52 hp. with., and turbocharged – 64 liters. With. All cars are equipped with a stepless variator, the drive can be front or full.

Also, the Suzuki Spacia model has a “twin” – the Mazda Flair Wagon hatchback.

First generation (2013–2018)

The first generation (MK32S/42S) was designed as a five-door hatchback and was available as the Spacia X in a standard version (52 hp three-cylinder) and as the Spacia T in a turbo version (64 hp three-cylinder). The microvan was also available with all-wheel drive and was equipped with air conditioning as standard and with two fully electric sliding doors. The rear seats are fully foldable and the front passenger seat can be folded flat, which means that even a two-meter person can sleep in it. There is also an emergency brake assistant and infotainment systems. There is an integrated module for the automatic lanes to avoid waiting at the toll stations on the Japanese motorways. It is a mild hybrid to increase performance.

Second Generation (2017–)

The second generation (MK53S) is also a mild hybrid. This generation is available as a Hybrid XZ and as a more powerful Hybrid XS, each also as a Turbo. There are also versions of different heights. The custom version is 1.8 meters high and the all-wheel drive version is 5 millimeters lower. The sporty Custom Concept version is only 1.785 meters high.
