Lincoln MKC background information
Lincoln MKC is a compact crossover of the American company Lincoln, a division of Ford Motor Company.
In January 2013, the Detroit Motor Show hosted a presentation of the Lincoln MKC concept. In November 2013, a serial version of the SUV was presented. The novelty competes with other premium crossovers, such as Land Rover Discovery Sport, BMW X3, Audi Q5 and Mercedes-Benz GLK-Class.
The crossover is built on the Ford Escape platform (known in our market as the Ford Kuga). In the USA, the Lincoln MKC crossover is available with a 2.0-liter Ecoboost petrol engine with 240 hp and a 2.3-liter Ecoboost engine with 275 hp.
Production of the model was established at the plant in Kentucky (USA). Sales of the novelty began in the summer of 2014.
In November 2017, the first update of the Lincoln MKC crossover took place. Now the car has a solid, not split chrome grille. LED headlights are no longer adjacent to it. Only the pattern of the lanterns changed behind. The interior is the same. Technical specifications have not changed
