Buick LaCrosse background information
Buick LaCrosse is a light front-wheel drive mid-size executive car. Manufactured by Buick, General Motors. Also called: Buick Allure (Canada, 2005–2010) and Alpheon (South Korea, 2010–2015).
The first generation (W) (2004-2009)
The first generation was introduced in the spring of 2004 as the 2005 model year.
The first-generation LaCrosse was only available with front-wheel drive.
In 2007 a restyling was carried out. The car received a new design of the front. A high-tech version of the Super was also unveiled.

Second generation (Epsilon II) (2009 – present)
The second generation Lacrosse was unveiled in January 2009 at the North American International Motor Show in Detroit (as a 2010 model car). The Buick Invicta concept car was taken as a basis. The car is built on the General Motors Epsilon II platform, which is also the basis for the Opel Insignia.
The second-generation LaCrosse went on sale in South Korea in 2010 under the Daewoo Alpheon brand. Versions with 3.0 and 2.6 liter engines were offered.
In 2013, the restyling of the second-generation LaCrosse was shown at the New York Motor Show. Changes include an updated design of the front and rear, a new design of the wheels, as well as new safety systems.

Third Generation (P2XX) (2016 – Present)
The third generation was presented to the public in November 2015 at the LA Auto Show in Los Angeles. The car is based on the new GM P2xx platform, the eleventh generation Chevrolet Impala. In China, sales began on April 18, 2016. The United States will receive the car in July 2016.
In March 2019, a revised version of LaCrosse was released.
