Buick Enclave background information

Buick Enclave is a full-size crossover created in May 2007 by Buick, a division of General Motors as the 2008 model year.

The first generation

Buick Enclave, GMC Acadia, Chevrolet Traverse and Saturn Outlook are built on the GM Lambda platform. The Buick Enclave was introduced in 2006 at the North American International Motor Show as a concept car, making it the first car built on the Lambda platform. The Buick Enclave is based in part on the Buick Centieme concept car, which was unveiled in 2003 at the Detroit Motor Show.
