Honda FR-V / Edix background information
Honda FR-V is a six-seater compact van manufactured by the Japanese company Honda from 2004 to August 2009. In Japan, it is known as the Honda Edix. Landing formula in Honda FR-V – 3 + 3 (3 seats in front and 3 in the back). The central seat of the front row is designed more for a child – in Europe, the car was presented as “creates comfort for parents and children in the front of the cabin.”
Engines
The FR-V is available with three petrol and one diesel engine.
- 1.7 VTEC – 125 hp (93 kW) at 6300 rpm and 154 Nm
- 1.8 i-VTEC – 138 hp (103 kW)
- 2.0 i-VTEC – 150 hp (112 kW) at 6500 rpm and 192 Nm
- 2.2 i-CTDi – 140 hp (104 kW) at 4000 rpm and 340 Nm
In the spring of 2007, the 1.7 VTEC and 2.0 i-VTEC engines were replaced by the new 1.8 i-VTEC (which was also used on the Honda Civic VIII).
Basic equipment
The standard equipment of the car includes: anti-lock braking system, brake pressure control system, brake force distribution system, front and rear air curtains, front front and side airbags, door beams, child lock, child seat mounting system, climate control , front power windows, cruise control, on-board computer, power steering, heated mirrors and rear wiper.
