Fiat 500X is a compact crossover from the Italian company Fiat.
The world premiere of the production car took place at the Paris Motor Show in 2014. Stylistically, the 500X resembles the Fiat 500L. In the model range, the car will replace the Sedici model. The Fiat 500X crossover is built on the GM Fiat Small Wide 4×4 platform, as is the Jeep Renegade SUV. The car is offered with both front and all-wheel drive, in two versions of off-road and city. The assembly of the model in Melfi (Italy) will be established in 2014. The planned annual output is 130,000 units.
At the start of sales in Europe, the crossover can be ordered with a 140-horsepower gasoline engine 1.4 Turbo MultiAir II (front-wheel drive, 6-speed manual transmission or “robot” in six gears with two clutches), 120-horsepower diesel 1.6 MultiJet II (also single-wheel drive) and “mechanics”) and with a 140-horsepower 2.0 MultiJet II diesel (9-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive). Later, a 110-horsepower 1.6 E-Torq petrol engine (a five-speed manual transmission and front-wheel drive), a 170-horsepower 1.4 Turbo MultiAir II variant and an 184-horsepower 2.4 Tigershark unit (the latter two with a nine-speed “) will be added. automatic “and all-wheel drive), diesel 1.3 MultiJet II (95 hp, five-speed” mechanics “, front-wheel drive) and a variant with the already mentioned 140-horsepower 2.0 MultiJet II, but with six-speed” mechanics “and all-wheel drive.
The luggage compartment in the stowed position will hold 245 liters (to the shelf), and with the backrests folded in the second row – 910 liters.
In 2018 Fiat 500X was updated, changing the front optics and equipment.
