Citroen C8 background information

Citroën C8 is a minivan of the French brand Citroën, which was manufactured in France at the Sevel plant in cooperation with Fiat and replaced the Citroën Evasion. In addition to the C8, similar models were produced, such as the Fiat Ulysse, Peugeot 807 and Lancia Phedra. The Citroën C8 was produced from July 2002 to July 2014. The commercial version of the car is called Citroën Jumpy.

Compared to the Citroën C8, the bottom, wheelbase and suspension have not been changed, but all external dimensions, including the front and rear track, have been increased. Increasing the length by almost 30 mm significantly increased the internal volume. The car got a more modern look, as well as a modern look of the dashboard with centrally installed sensors.

The middle and third rows of seats are now shifted forward / backward to increase flexibility, and have adjustable backs.

In 2008, the Citroën C8 received a light facelift.

In 2012, the Citroën C8 was updated for the second time. The appearance of the car turned out quite modern. Not only Citroen engineers but also Peugeot and Lancia worked on the exterior design, thanks to which the overall style of the car is similar to the Peugeot 807 and Lancia Phedra models. The original style of the minivan is emphasized by large integrated headlights, vertical taillight inserts and a large handle on the fifth door of the C8. Dimensions of Citroen C8 are equal: length – 4726 mm, width – 2194 mm, height – 1856 mm, wheelbase – 2823 mm.
