The Citroën Xantia is a mid-size D-Class manufactured by Citroën, a division of the PSA Group from 1993 to 2001. As of 2009, the car continues to be produced in Iran by SAIPA.
The design of Citroen Xantia is made by Bertone studio. In 1995, the Break version was released – a 5-door station wagon and a modification of the Activa, equipped with an improved suspension with a stabilization system. The Activa version, in addition to the usual gearboxes, was equipped with automatic electronic control.
In 1998, the car underwent a restyling, which resulted in a slightly higher and gained in length: hatchbacks became longer by 8 cm, station wagons – by 5 cm. panels became more rounded.
