Cadillac DTS background information

The Cadillac DTS (DeVille Touring Sedan or Touring Sedan D-Series) is a full-size luxury sedan manufactured by Cadillac. DTS replaced Cadillac DeVille. This renaming was carried out in connection with the new convention to change the names of cars of the brand, carried out earlier in the CTS and STS. The first version of the DTS was first shown in 2005 at the Chicago Motor Show on February 9. DTS remained in production until 2011.

The car is built on the front-wheel drive platform GM G.

He was replaced by Cadillac XTS.

The sedan is presented in Standard, Luxury and Premium complete sets. In 2008, a limited edition Platinum series was released. The list of standard equipment is led by safety elements, including: four-channel anti-lock brakes, anti-slip system, side and front airbags.
