Daihatsu Xenia background information
The Sister Model of the Toyota Avanza is called Daihatsu Xenia, the only DAIHATSU model for which there are two engines: the 1.3 L-R4 with electronic gasoline injection from the Avanza (SO) and a 1.0 L-R3 motor with a power of 63 BHP (46 kW) at 5600 min-1 and a torque of 92 nm at 3600 min-1.
In China, Daihatsu brought out with FAW the Xenia on 21 June 2007. The production runs at FAW JILIN car. This Daihatsu Xenia has the same engines as the Avanza, which is supplied by Astra Daihatsu Motor in Malaysia. The interior was designed by FAW. As early as 2010, cooperation between Daihatsu and FAW ended.
