Manual for the repair, maintenance and operation of Chevrolet Corsica cars with gasoline engines 2.0 l., 2.2 l., 2.3 l., 2.8 l., 3.1 l., 1987-1996.
The purpose of this Chevrolet Corsica manual is to help the owner use the vehicle to its full potential.
The Chevrolet Corsica manual also provides a complete list of periodic maintenance procedures. The most common malfunctions and methods of their detection and elimination are also given. We hope that you will be able to solve many of the problems that arise on your own. Some procedures take so little time that it is easier to do it yourself than to sign up at a service station, drive the car there, and then pick it up. This will save you not only your time, but also money.
This service repair manual is intended for Chevrolet Corsica car owners, service stations and repair shops.
Chevrolet Corsica background information
The Chevrolet Corsica (named after Corsica, France) is a compact front-wheel drive vehicle produced by Chevrolet from 1987 to 1996. Corsica was built on the L-body platform. It shared the L-body platform with the 2-door Chevrolet Beretta, and the revived Pontiac Tempest, which was essentially the same car but only sold in Canada. Corsica came in two styles and four finishes. Initially sold only as a 4-door sedan, it was later also available as a 5-door hatchback from 1989 to 1991. The Corsicans were built alongside the Beretta at both the Wilmington Assembly in Delaware and the Linden Assembly in New Jersey.
