SsangYong Rodius / Stavic background information
SsangYong Rodius is a minivan of the Korean company SsangYong Motor Company, produced since 2004. In Australia and a number of other countries, it is sold as SsangYong Stavic. Different configurations are available: 7-seater, 9-seater and 11-seater. The original design by Ken Greenley should resemble a luxury yacht. The second-generation SsangYong Rodius was presented at the Geneva Motor Show in early 2013.
The 2013 models received two engines. The 3.2-litre in-line petrol engine offers 220 horsepower and 312 Nm. Another power unit of the second generation minivan was a 2.0-liter turbo engine with 155 horsepower and 360 Nm.
The minivan is presented in S, ES and EX complete sets.
The base S model comes with three-point seat belts, anti-lock brakes, CD player, climate control, driver and front passenger airbags, electrically operated mirrors, folding rear seats, electrically operated front and rear windows, front fog lights wheel, driver’s seat with settings, remote lock function and roof railings.
The ES model will add alloy wheels, audio system, driver’s and front passenger seats with electric drive, heated seats, leather trim, parking sensors and an anti-skid system.
The EX boasts alloy wheels, an audio system, cruise control, leather seats and an anti-skid system.
