BYD L3 background information
BYD L3 – Class Class C Class C Chinese company BYD. The premiere of the model took place in the framework of Beijing in the spring of 2010.
Like G3, BYD L3 is similar to Toyota Corolla E120. The torsion beam is used as the rear suspension, the McPherson racks are installed in front of them, and the brakes on all wheels are disk. The car weighs about 1200 kg, having 4568 mm in length, 1716 mm wide, 1480 mm in height and 2615 mm of wheelbase.
Among the equipment available for L3 is ABS + EBD, airbags, electric packages, a non-clavial access system, a satellite navigation with voice notifications, 15-inch alloy disks, etc. Part of the equipment is available in the base configuration, part – in the form of options.
One of two gasoline engines can be installed under the L3 hood. The 1.5-liter unit produces 106 hp. power at 5800 rpm and 144 nm of torque at 4800 rpm. The 1.8-liter motor issues 121 hp. at 6000 rpm The maximum speed of the car in both cases is 170 km/h.
As for the transmission, the lesser engine is equipped with a 5-speed mechanical gearbox, and a variator is paired with a 1.8 liter unit.
