MG 5 Background Information
The MG 5 is a passenger car that was put into production by SAIC Motor under the MG brand in 2012.
According to What Car? Magazine, the MG 5 will compete with the Ford Focus and Volkswagen Golf in the UK. The vehicle will initially only be sold in China due to difficulties finding dealers in Europe.
The vehicle (internal factory index – AP12) is based on the Roewe 350 sedan platform. The MG 5 concept car debuted at the 2011 Shanghai Motor Show. The profile of the model is reminiscent of the Hyundai i30 and Honda Civic.
Available engines will be a 4-cylinder, 1.5-liter, 100 hp. with., as well as a 1.8-liter TCI-Tech (modernized K-Series) with a capacity of 133 liters. with., also installed on the MG6 GT. A turbocharged version of the 1.8-liter engine with over 185bhp may also be available.
The standard complete set of MG 5 is rich enough and includes:

- braking control system when turning;
- front and front side airbags;
- on-board computer, power steering;
- air conditioning, glove compartment with cooling;
