Cadillac CT6 background information
Cadillac CT6 (abbreviated Cadillac Touring 6) – a full-size car of increased comfort manufactured by Cadillac.
The car was first presented in 2015 at the New York International Motor Show and has been sold in the United States since 2016. This is the first car with a new indexing, as well as the first rear-wheel drive full-size sedan Cadillac, the successor to Fleetwood, which ceased production in 1996.
The car is built on the new rear-wheel drive platform GM Omega. There is also an all-wheel drive modification. All models are equipped with an 8-speed Hydra-Matic automatic transmission.
There are two configurations: basic Luxury and top Platinum. The basic equipment includes LED headlights, adaptive cruise control, round-the-clock cameras, dual-zone “climate”, engine start button, genuine leather interior trim, heated all seats and front ventilation, media center with 10-inch display and navigation, “music” with 10 speakers, panoramic sunroof, 19-inch wheels and more.
Platinum performance will please with the adaptive suspension Magnetic Ride Control and the active full-wheel drive chassis with steering rear wheels. There is a night vision system with pedestrian recognition, projection display, 20-inch wheels, induction charging for smartphones, digital tidy 12.3-inch, four-zone climate control, Bose Panaray audio system with 34 speakers, ventilation and massage in the rear for second row passengers. In both configurations, the electric drive opens the trunk “without hands”, there are sun blinds.
