Aston Martin DB AR1 background information
The luxurious two -seater relative of Aston Martin DB AR1 was created in 2003 specifically for the American market together with the Italian mosquito Zagato. A car produced by a limited circulation of 99 copies was sold in the USA at a price of about 225 thousand dollars. A characteristic feature of the machine is the complete absence of the roof: it did not have a folding or removable top.
Technically, the Aston Martin DB AR1 was similar to the DB7 model, and its power unit was “borrowed” from V12 Vanquish: it was a six -liter V12 motor with a capacity of 435 liters. S., setting the rear wheels. The gearbox is mechanical, six -speed.
