Aston Martin Virage background information

Aston Martin Virage is a car made by the British manufacturer Aston Martin as a replacement for its V8 models.

Virage/V8 Coupé (1989–2000)

It was presented at a car dealership in Birmingham in 1988 with an engine of 5.3 l of V8 with a capacity of 335 hp. and 494 Nm, based on it in 1993, a high -performance Vantage with a 5.3 l V8 engine with two EATON compressors with a 550 horse forces and a 746 nm torque, and the name of the standard Virage car was replaced by V8 Coupe in 1996.

Viraage (2011–2012)

The new generation Virage is presented at the 2011 Geneva Motor Show. The car was designed on the basis of DB9 with an engine 5.9 l V12 with a capacity of 497 hp. at 6500 rpm, torque 570 nm at 5750 rpm. The Virage body is mainly made of aluminum, but magnesium alloys are also used. However, due to low sales in 2012 it was replaced by Vanquish. A total of about 1000 cars in the body of a compartment and a convertible.
