Land Rover Freelander background information

Land Rover Freelander is a Land Rover British SUV manufactured from 1997 to 2014.

The project of a compact crossover under the brand Land Rover originates in the late 1980s. The maternal company Rover Group, which belonged to Land Rover, conducted a marketing research that gave a green light for the future model under the code marking Freelander CB40.
