Holden Acadia background information

The Holden Acadia is a large crossover that was produced from 2018 to 2020 in the US. The car was only sold in the Australian and New Zealand markets.

The car was a copy of the GMC Acadia model of the same name and was equipped with a 3.6-liter V6 gasoline engine developing 314 hp. from and paired with a nine-speed automatic. The drive could be front or full.

For the first time ever, General Motors has decided to market any of its GMC models under a different brand to the market outside the North America and Middle East region. In September 2016, a right-hand drive variant was introduced for the Australian and New Zealand market under the Holden Acadia brand.

The sale started a year and a half later in June 2018 and lasted only two years, ending in mid-2020 due to the liquidation of the Holden brand.
