Datsun mi-DO background information

Datsun Mi-Do is a compact front-wheel drive hatchback, created by the Japanese company Nissan based on the Lada Kalina car. Among other improvements from its progenitor Datsun MI-DO features high road lumen (174 mm) and the Japanese automatic jatco gearbox.

Datsun Mi-Do was the second model of the brand, published on the Russian market after the on-Do sedan.

Hatchback premiere took place on August 27, 2014 at the Moscow Motor Show.

The serial assembly of the Datsun MI-DO model began in February 2015, and on sale it came on February 24, 2015 and immediately in two versions – with a mechanical and automatic transmission. In the basic configuration, any Datsun MI-DO has ABS, on-board computer, electric power steering, seats heating, electrically regulating, heating mirrors and two airbags. The most expensive equipment, in addition, is equipped with alloy wheels, multimedia system, air conditioning, stabilization system, parking sensors and four airbags.

At the moment, the Datsun hatchback is present in the markets of Russia, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Moldova and Lebanon.

In January 2020, the car received new side mirrors with repeaters of turn signs, other rearview mirrors and a handbrake lever in the cabin.
