Aston Martin DBS background information
Aston Martin DBS is a name used by the British Automobile Company Martin, to designate the Grand Turification Class family, which was manufactured in 1967-1972, 2007-2012, and since 2018.
First Generation (1967-1972)
DBS was prepared as the successor of the Aston Martin DB6, however, both models were produced in parallel for three years. Equipped with a row 6-cylinder engine, it was produced from 1967 to 1972, after which it was displaced for the advantage of Aston Martin V8.
Second generation (2007-2012)
For the second time, DBS was used in 2007 to refer to the following Grand Turness Model, Aston Martin DBS V12, created by Aston Martin specialists in the body of the compartment, to replace Aston Martin Vanquish (2001-2006). The model was officially presented on August 17, 2007 at Pemble Beach Concours D’Elegance. Sales began in the 1st quarter of 2008. The car was a modification of the Aston Martin DB9 model, on the basis of which it was built.
In 2012, Aston Martin DBS V12 was replaced by the new Aston Martin Vanquish model.
Third generation (from 2018)
For the third time, DBS was used in 2018 to designate the Aston Martin DBS Superleggera, which was a seriously modernized version of the Aston Martin DB11. The first customers received their cars in the third quarter of 2018. The body of the body has not only a compartment but also a Volante convertible, which was released in the spring of 2019. Also, the British prepared DBS AMR with a V12 Twin-Turbo engine with a capacity of 5.2 liters and a power of more than 800 hp.
