These service repair manuals describes the operation and repair of the Volvo XC60. The manual describes the repair of cars with gasoline and diesel engines.
The premiere of the K1 class luxury crossover Volvo XC60 was held at the Geneva Motor Show in 2008. The car is built on the Y20 platform, like the 2007 model year Land Rover Freelander. Sales of Volvo XC60 in Europe started in the third quarter of the same year. The model is assembled at the Volvo Cars concern factory in Ghent (Belgium).
Unlike all previous models of Volvo, the car has more expressive forms and vigorous outlines. The unique design of the car attracts attention to it: compactness is successfully combined with volumetric forms. The lower part, separated from the top by a high waist line, brings power to the appearance of the car and is complemented by an impressive ground clearance and large wheels. Sloping roof emphasizes sportiness.
With all the variety of design solutions, the car’s Volvo brand is immediately visible: high front fenders emphasizing the classic hood profile, separated headlights of the original shape and a rounded radiator grille, traditionally crossed out by a diagonal strip with the logo of the Swedish automaker.
Volvo XC60 – a crossover, created using advanced technologies, so that it has several significant advantages: rapid acceleration, low fuel consumption, low emissions, high degree of comfort. This car is aimed at customers who place high demands on design and are not indifferent to high technology. And design and technology have always been the strengths and benefits of the Volvo brand.
