Genesis G70 background information
Genesis G70 – a four-door sedan of the middle class, made by the Korean Hyundai Motor Company company since 2017. The car is presented to the public on September 15, 2017 in Seoul. In September 2020, the sedan received a planned restyling and received a new language design with the so-called QUAD LAMP headlights.
The length of the sedan is 4685 mm, width and height – 1850 and 1400 mm, and the wheelbase extends to 2835 mm. The design was developed by Peters Shrier and Luke Donverwolke.
The car received a new rear drive platform from the Kia Stinger (front of McPherson racks, behind the multipourage suspension) and three engines: Lambda II V6 3.3 T-GDI (370 hp, 510 nm, version G70 Sport), Theta II 2.0 T-GDI ( 252 hp or 255 hp with Sports Package Package, 353 nm) and diesel R-FR 2.2 VGT (202 hp, 441 nm). Each engine can be combined with a rear or full drive, and a gearbox in all cases – an octopus ACPP.
The basic control is also a rear differential with mechanical locking and a Dynamic Torque vectoring system that brings the wheels for a more efficient passage of rotations. For Sport version, an electronic control suspension and a steering mechanism with a variable transmission number are also available.
In processing, the skin is used by NAPA and aluminum. There is an octuine touch screen and MirrorLink, Apple Carplay and Android Auto. The sound corresponds to the Lexicon system with 15 speakers.
The car has an Highway Driving Assist (HDA) route assistant, with an exit to the Internet and a voice recognition system based on the artificial intelligence platform of Kakao i from Kakao Corp with handling information on the server. Already here already “in the database” installed nine airbags and active hood, supplied with a pedestrian.
