FAW Besturn X80 background information
FAW Besturn X80 is a compact SUV representative of the Chinese brand of the same name, which was created on the basis of the Mazda 6 sedan first generation. For the first time this cross was shown in 2013 during an auto exhibition in Shanghai. Then the SUV debuted in the domestic market, and already in 2016 the manufacturer conducted its restyling. Cross appeared in Russia in 2014. However, in the same year his sales were stopped.
Since mid -2018, a restyled version of the cross has been on sale. At the moment, FAW Besturn X80 of 2021 is available in two versions. For an updated cross, the manufacturer offers the only power unit, as well as two types of transmission.
The restyling of the SUV led to the fact that its power characteristics have become easier. By decision of the manufacturer, the FAW Besturn X80 of 2021 is equipped with the only available unit-a 2-liter gas station, the performance of which is 142 horsepower, and the torque is 184 N*m. This engine is supplemented by a multiple injection system and corresponds to the indicators of the Euro-4 standard.
In pairs with this engine, the manufacturer provides for the possibility of installing a mechanical transmission or an automatic box for 6 gears. The engine operation indicators, depending on the established transmission, do not differ. The maximum speed of the crossover is 185 km/h, and the average fuel consumption is 8.2 liters per 100 km of the distance traveled. By the way, you can refuel the Chinese SUVs with AI-92 brand gasoline.
