Chery E3 / Bonus 3: background information
Chery E3 / Bonus 3 (design code A19) is a sedan car produced since 2013 by the Chinese car manufacturer Chery Automobile.
During the development and design phases, the car was known by the code name A19. The Chery E3 was launched on the Chinese automotive market on September 12, 2013, placing itself below the Chery E5 and Cowin 3 models.
To feed the Chery E3 there is a 1.5 -litre ACTECCO petrol engine that delivers 109 HP (80 kW) and 140 Nm, combined with a five-speed manual gearbox. The front suspensions adopt the scheme with Macpherson uprights, the rear ones are adopted a rigid axle scheme with a twisting bar.
In 2017, the car was subjected to restyling which affected the front grid characterized by a new design and a new four-speed automatic transmission was introduced.
