Chery QQ6 (Chery Jaggi) background information

The Chery QQ6 is a supermini made by the Chinese manufacturer Chery Automobile. The vehicle has a notchback.

The vehicle was formally presented at the 2006 Guangzhou Auto Show.

With the QQ6, Chery had expanded its microcar series to include a notchback vehicle, which is very popular in China. The technically unrelated hatchback model carried the name Chery QQ3 in the first generation from this point on.

The car is equipped with a 1.3 l engine with 61 kW; in Chile it is offered as the Chery S21 with a 1.1-liter engine. The vehicle is also available in Ukraine as the Chery Jaggi and is manufactured under license in Egypt as the Speranza Chery A213. In Iran, production from 2008 at Iran Khodro was planned. Airbags and ABS are available at an additional cost.
