Acura EL is a compact luxury car built by Honda Alliston, Ontario (Canada). EL is a slightly modified version of the Honda Civic with a higher level of rigging.

Acura EL was a commercial success. Car sales accounted for 51% of all annual sales of new Acura cars in Canada in their first full year of sales, EL remained the main model of Acura in Canada from 1997 to 2003. In 2005 Acura EL was replaced by Acura CSX, which, like EL, was only available in Canada.
