Mitsubishi Colt – a compact city car from the Japanese concern Mitsubishi. The first generation, introduced in 1962 as a two-door Mitsubishi Colt 600 sedan, had a rear-engine layout, but with the change of generations in 1978, the drive was changed to the front, later all-wheel drive versions were added. Under the brand Colt in different years produced sedans, wagons, fastbacks, however, the main body remained hatchback.

The next-generation Mitsubishi Colt was introduced in 2004. The compact city hatchback or small minivan belongs to the European class “B”. The new generation Mitsubishi Colt is not a shortened version of the Mitsubishi Lancer, but an independent segment model created on the same platform with the Mercedes Smart Forfour. The car is produced in Holland at the NadCar plant.

Three petrol engines are available to choose from: four-cylinder 1.3-liter (95 hp) and 1.5-liter engines. (109 hp) and a three-cylinder volume of 1.1 liters. It is also possible to install a 1.5 liter diesel engine. They are equipped with a proprietary innovative system for changing valve timing and valve lift height Mivec.

The car can be in different configurations: with different engines with red or gray cloth upholstery. For the version of “Invite” offers rear 8-inch drum brakes, steel rims with caps and tires dimension 195 / 50R15, front airbags, but only for the driver.

In the Instyle configuration, the car has 14-inch rear disc brakes, alloy wheels with 205 / 45R16 tires, fog lights, an audio system on the steering wheel, and front and side airbags for the driver and front passenger (SRS).
