Mini Clubman background information
The Mini Clubman is a Class B station wagon with front or all-wheel drive. The debut of the restyled version took place in April 2019.
The Clubman is the most practical MINI model. At the same time, the designers managed to maintain the bright appearance characteristic of the brand’s cars. And after the update, the car will also please with a matrix high beam, LED taillights with a “stuffing” in the form of a national flag and a slightly modified design of the radiator grille. As before, hinged tailgates, which significantly increase the convenience of loading / unloading, remain a characteristic feature of the Mini Clubman.
Inside the car looks no less bright than outside. Noteworthy is the circle on the center console, inside which is the display of the multimedia system. Also a striking element of the interior decoration are four “metal” toggle switches located below the infotainment system. True, the predecessor had all this – the novelty boasts a maximum of updated decor.
The car is sold in the Cooper and Cooper S versions. In the first case, there will be a 1.5 liter engine (136 hp) and a 6-speed manual or 7-speed robotic gearbox. In the second – a 2-liter engine with 192 hp. working with similar checkpoints. At the same time, four-wheel drive can also be available for the Cooper S. Such cars can be equipped with mechanics or a classic 8-speed torque converter.
The MINI Clubman also has a diesel engine in its technical arsenal: One D (1.5 – 116 hp), Cooper D (2.0 – 150 hp) and Cooper SD (2.0 – 190 hp) .
