REMOVAL & INSTALLATION
- Disconnect the negative battery cable.
- Remove the instrument cluster, and place on a flat, clean, well lighted surface.
- Turn the cluster upside down and remove the case and circuit board retainer screws.
- Remove the gauge-to-circuit board retainer nuts, if equipped.
- Remove the gauge-to-circuit board retainer screws, if equipped.
- Remove the cluster illumination bulbs, if equipped by turning 1/4 turn and lifting the bulbs out.
- Carefully detach the individual gauge contact tabs from the circuit board.
- Carefully remove the circuit board assembly.
To install:
- Lay the circuit board over the rear of the cluster assembly, making sure to proper alignment the gauge-to-circuit board contact holes tabs, or studs.
- Install the illumination bulbs, if equipped, and turn 1/4 turn to lock in place.
- Install the circuit board retainer nuts or screws, if equipped.
- Install the circuit board and cluster assembly retainer screws.
- Install the instrument cluster.
- Connect the negative battery cable.
- Start the vehicle, and make sure all the gauges work correctly.
