REMOVAL & INSTALLATION
Depending on production date, model and level of interior trim, certain vehicles will not be equipped with a temperature gauge.
Also some models incorporate an oil pressure gauge with another gauge like a fuel, voltmeter or temperature gauge. If 1 of these gauges fails, the entire combination gauge assembly must be replaced.
Justy
- Disconnect the negative battery cable.
- Remove the instrument cluster, and place on a flat, clean, well lighted surface.
- Turn the cluster upside down and remove the case and circuit board retainer screws.
- Remove the gauge-to-circuit board retainer nuts.
- Carefully remove the circuit board assembly.
- Lift the combination gauge assembly out of the cluster.
To install:
- Install the combination gauge into the cluster assembly, making sure to insert the alignment tabs at the corners of the gauge.
- Lay the circuit board over the rear of the cluster assembly, making sure to proper alignment the gauge-to-circuit board contact studs.
- Install the retainer nuts to the gauge studs, and tighten snugly.
- Install the circuit board and cluster assembly retainer screws.
- Install the instrument cluster.
- Connect the negative battery cable.
- Start the vehicle, and make sure all the gauges work correctly.
