REMOVAL & INSTALLATION
Refer to Section 1 for wiper blade and rubber insert removal and installation.
Justy
- Disconnect the negative battery cable.
- Pull the wiper arm upward slightly, and depress the clip at the base to remove the retainer nut cover.
- Paint an alignment mark on the linkage or motor stud and wiper arm. Loosen and remove the wiper arm retainer nut.
- Apply upward pressure to remove the wiper arm.
To install:
- Place the wiper arm in position on the stud aligning the painted marks. Install the retainer nut, and tighten to 65 inch lbs. (7 Nm).
- Install the retainer nut cover.
- Connect the negative battery cable.
- Test the wipers for proper wiper arm alignment and smooth operation.

- Disconnect the negative battery cable.
- Use a suitable prytool to remove the wiper arm retainer nut cover at the base of the wiper arm assembly, if equipped.
- Paint an alignment mark on the linkage or motor stud and wiper arm. Loosen and remove the wiper arm retainer nut.
- Apply upward pressure to remove the wiper arm.
To install:
- Place the wiper arm in position on the stud aligning the painted marks. Install the retainer nut, and tighten to 65 inch lbs. (7 Nm).
- Install the retainer nut cover.
- Connect the negative battery cable.
- Test the wipers for proper wiper arm alignment and smooth operation.
