Ignition Coil Pack

REMOVAL & INSTALLATION
  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Tag, then remove each spark plug wire from the coil assembly.
  3. Disconnect the wire harness attached to the coil assembly.

WARNING!!!
Failure to identify the correct spark plug wire placement could cause serious coil damage during installation.
  1. Remove the retaining bolts which secure the coil assembly to the intake manifold, and remove the coil from the engine compartment.

To install:

  1. Position the coil on top of the intake manifold, and secure in place with the retaining bolts.
  2. Attach the spark plug wires to the coil in the correct order.
  3. Fasten the wire harness to the coil.
  4. Connect the negative battery cable.
