1. Remove the chain cover. 
2. Remove the timing chain.
3. Remove the fuel pump gear.
4. Remove the reduction sprocket and gear.
(1) Using ST, align the position of the crank gear key at the 3 o’clock position as shown in the figure.

(2) Attach the ST to the reduction sprocket and gear, and temporarily fix the sub gear in place.
NOTE:
The position where the ST is to be attached is below the part where there are two timing mark stamps.

(3) Remove the reduction sprocket and gear plate.
(4) Remove the reduction sprocket and gearshaft and the reduction sprocket and gear together as a set.
(5) Remove the reduction sprocket and gear plate.
