1. Remove the chain cover. 
2. Remove the timing chain assembly.
3. Remove the cam sprocket.
NOTE:
Step 3 is only performed when replacing the camshaft.
4. Remove the rocker cover.
5. Disconnect the fuel delivery pipe and return pipe.
6. Loosen the camshaft cap bolts equally, a little at a time in numerical sequence as shown in the figure.
7. Remove the camshaft cap and front camshaft cap.
NOTE:
Arrange camshaft caps in order so that they can be installed in their original positions.
8. Remove the camshaft.
9. Remove the valve rocker.

Arrange the valve rockers in order so that they can be installed in their original positions.
