1. Disconnect the ground cable from battery.
2. Remove the air intake chamber. (Except for 2.0 L Euro 5 model) 
3. Remove the air intake boot assembly. (2.0 L Euro 5 model)
4. Remove the air intake chamber stay. (Except for 2.0 L Euro 5 model)
• AT model
• MT model
5. Disconnect the connector (B) and terminal (A) from starter.
6. Remove the starter from transmission.
NOTE:
For the MT model, a bolt is used in place (A).
