IGNITION(H4DO 1.5) > Spark Plug

REMOVAL

Spark plug:

Refer to “SPECIFICATION” for the spark plug.

1. RH SIDE

1. Disconnect the ground cable from battery.

2. Remove the air cleaner case.

3. Disconnect the connector from ignition coil.

4. Remove the ignition coil.

NOTE:

Turn #3 ignition coil by 180 degrees to remove it.

5. Remove the spark plug with a spark plug socket.

2. LH SIDE

• Except for Euro 5 model

1. Remove the battery.

2. Disconnect the connector from ignition coil.

3. Remove the ignition coil.

NOTE:

Turn #4 ignition coil by 180 degrees to remove it.

4. Remove the spark plug with a spark plug socket.

• Euro 5 model

1. Remove the battery.

2. Disconnect the air duct from the secondary air pump. (Except for 1.5 L AT model)

3. Remove the bolts attaching the air duct to the rocker cover LH and raise the air duct. (Except for 1.5 L AT model)

4. Remove the secondary air pump. (1.5 L AT model)

5. Remove the bolts attaching the air duct to the rocker cover LH and raise the air duct. (1.5 L AT model)

6. Disconnect the connector from ignition coil.

7. Remove the ignition coil.

NOTE:

Turn #4 ignition coil by 180 degrees to remove it.

8. Remove the spark plug with a spark plug socket.
