CHECK CLUTCH SWITCH SIGNAL FOR SMART.

1) Read the data of clutch switch signal for smart using Subaru Select Monitor.

NOTE:

For detailed operation procedures, refer to “READ CURRENT DATA FOR ENGINE”.

2) Depress the clutch pedal.

QUESTION

Does the data of clutch switch signal for smart turn to ON?

Yes No

Repair the harness and connector.

NOTE:

In this case, repair the following item:

• Open circuit in harness between ECM connector and clutch start switch connector

• Poor contact of multi-joint connector (RHD model)
