SEATS > Front Seat

INSPECTION

1. SEAT COVER

Check that no tear or fray on the backrest cover and seat cushion cover.

NOTE:

For model with side airbag, if the door side of the backrest cover is torn or frayed, the side airbag may not be deployed properly. In this case, replace the backrest cover.

2. PASSENGER’S SEAT SEATING SENSOR (KA & KC MODELS)

Turn the ignition switch to ON, apply weight to rear part of passenger’s seat cushion and check if passenger’s seat belt warning light illuminates.

If the passenger’s seat belt warning light does not illuminate, replace the seat cushion pad with a new part.

3. FLAT MAT HOOK

Check the flat mat hook by applying weight to the backrest.

NOTE:

If the appropriate stiffness is not obtained by applying weight to the backrest, the dislocation of the hook may be considered.

If it is due to the deformation of the hook, replace the hook with a new part.
