DTC P2504 CHARGING SYSTEM VOLTAGE HIGH

DTC DETECTING CONDITION:

Immediately at fault recognition

CAUTION:

After servicing or replacing faulty parts, perform Clear Memory Mode , and Inspection Mode .

WIRING DIAGRAM:

1.CHECK HARNESS BETWEEN ECM AND GENERATOR CONNECTOR.

1) Turn the ignition switch to OFF.

2) Disconnect the connectors from ECM and generator.

3) Turn the ignition switch to ON.

4) Measure the voltage between the generator connector and the engine ground.

(F26) No. 3 (+) — Engine ground (−):

Is the voltage 10 V or more?

Repair the short circuit of harness to power supply between ECM and generator connector.

Repair the poor contact of ECM connector.
