DTC B2203 ABNORMAL IMMOBILIZER POWER SUPPLY

DTC DETECTING CONDITION:

Open or short circuit in the engine ignition switch power supply circuit.

TROUBLE SYMPTOM:

• Engine will not start.

• The keyless access system function does not operate.

WIRING DIAGRAM:

1.CHECK WIRING HARNESS.

1) Disconnect the collation CM connector and the push button ignition switch connector.

2) Using a tester, check continuity between the collation CM connector and push button ignition switch connector, the collation CM connector and chassis ground.

Is there continuity?

Repair or replace the open circuit of harness.

2.CHECK WIRING HARNESS.

Using a tester, check continuity between the collation CM connector and chassis ground.

(B421) No. 30 — Chassis ground:

Is there continuity?

Repair or replace the short circuit of the harness.

3.CHECK PUSH BUTTON IGNITION SWITCH.

1) Replace the push button ignition switch.

2) Use the Subaru Select Monitor to clear the DTC code.

3) Read the DTC again.

Is a DTC displayed?

Replace the collation CM.

System is normal.
