REMOVAL

CAUTION:

When detaching the rear gate upper trim and pillar trim, do not pull these parts with excessive force. If pulled with excessive force, the trim may become damaged.

1. Remove the clips, and remove the rear gate upper trim.

CAUTION:

To remove the trim, follow the procedures below. If removal is attempted using excessive force, the trim may become damaged. Use flat screwdrivers (1) or clip removers (2), to detach the claws of the trim.

(1) Use flat screwdrivers (1) to detach the claws of the trim.

(2) Use clip removers (2) to detach the claws of the trim.

Tools used

Flat head screw driver: Those with shaft lengths of around 100 mm
Clip remover: KTC AP20L-10B

2. Using a flat screwdriver, detach the claws of the trim, and remove the rear gate pillar trim.

CAUTION:

To remove the trim, follow the procedures below. If removal is attempted using excessive force, the trim may become damaged.

(1) Insert a flat screwdriver (1) as shown in the figure, to detach the claws of the trim.

(2) Insert a flat screwdriver (2) as shown in the figure, to detach the claws of the trim.

Tools used

Flat head screw driver (1): Those with shaft lengths of around 100 mm
Flat head screw driver (2): Those with shaft lengths of around 290 mm

3. Remove the clips, and then remove the rear gate lower trim.
